Abundant life is not an automatic by-product of being "saved". But rather a place that God wants to lead you to. Some of the components of an abundant life include:
- We need to be complete in Him and not depend on external sources.
- We can not be owned by our possessions. If we diligently seek Him, He will be the reward us. He must be the source our abundance. Hebrews 11:6.
- Our unbelief and faithlessness births fear, discontentment & murmuring. These things will keep us from His Promises and in the wilderness just as the Israelites wandered for 40 years. Faith towards God produces worship regardless of ones current situation and worship in turn produces praise.
- Wait on the Lord in your times of struggle and he will renew you (Isaiah 40:31).

Sunday School September 30th, 2007.
Thank you for this lesson, it is what I needed to hear this week.
Let me not be faithless because even through each struggle God is there even when I do not 'see him'. I need not doubt that he will provide.
