Christ has given us the freedom to live as we desire but also requires that we don't submit ourselves to a yolk of bondage or slavery (Gal chapter 5). So how do we live in liberty and not get caught up in the many temptations that bombard our daily lives? We walk in the Spirit.

I agree with everything! Walking in the Spirit can also be a physical act- with a spiritual nature. Sometimes we need to do something physical to put our spirit into action and avoid temptation. Being a blessing to others is a great way to do this. For example we can do an act of service such as sending care packages to soldiers which not only benefits them, but also helps us remember our great provider who sends us everything we need and who is constantly thinking of us. Acts of service keep us thinking of the intangible, wonderful gift that God is to us and helps us keep away from selfish, inward thoughts and actions that lead to destruction.
