John & AngOver the past 6 years my wife and I have been truly blessed by the body and the ministries at Gateway Pentecostal Church. It’s very easy to just do what you’ve always known to do, but when God showed us some areas in our lives that He wanted to change we found a supportive and loving body there to help us grow and strengthen our relationship with each other, our family, our finances, and most importantly our love for God!

Just a few, short years ago we were in considerable debt and struggling to get ahead. When the Crown Financial class was offered at Gateway we knew it would have an impact on us and we were ready to ask God into this area of our lives. The principals of stewardship and giving were a tremendous blessing and within about 2 1/2 years our financial situation was completely turned around. It was so much deeper than just following a budget. The Biblical principles that were shown to us throughout the course were life changing.  To “owe no man nothing” as the Bible states is a true feeling of freedom that we would have never experienced without the body and a willing teacher.

The Growing Kids Gods Way class was also a profound blessing. Although the title seemed mostly about about child rearing, we were surprised to see how much it focused on us as parents and our responsibility to be an example of Christ for our children to follow. Getting to the heart of your children and not just getting them to behave is an ultimate and attainable goal.

God has shown us so much about life and love. It’s amazing how certain events or words can make such an impact on us and we fail to see God’s true love for us. Through the ministry at Gateway we have come to see the true nature of God’s love and have found new freedom from our past in order to have an abundant life in the here an now full of joy, peace and love!  We are truly blessed!
