Judges 1 - 3

Joshua 2:10 And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel.

How could something like this happen in one generation? Were they so self centered that they failed to pass on what God had done? Were they so passive that they didn't want to burden there children with rules? Why wouldn't they tell the story?

Are we effectively pass on what God has done in our lives?
