1Chronicles 25:1 "David and the chiefs of the service also set apart for the service the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who prophesied with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals. The list of those who did the work and of their duties was:"

David, the man after God’s own heart, took great pains to see that the house of God was provided for. In these chapters, it seems that it is just names and numbers. But if you look deeper, it is the heart of a king that treasures God’s Kingdom and is wanting people to be set apart for His service.
