Youth camp fund-raising update
Posted on: June 18, 2008 by Thanks to everyone who participated in last week’s pie auction. We raised $133 for this year’s youth camp in Winston-Salem, N.C. July 22-26.
It is just the first of several fund raisers we have planned to help our young people head to camp. This Sunday, the young – and the not so young – will be put up on the auction block.
Whether you need windows washed, your car fixed or your garden weeded, we have the workers for you. Put in a bid at the youth auction this Sunday! This year’s youth camp is for ages 13 and up.
Other upcoming youth camp fund raisers include:
– Raking McArthur Park in Corinth this Monday, June 23 at 9 a.m. Bring your own rake and a bag lunch and we’ll have a picnic by the waterfall!
– On Super Sunday, July 13, we are having a buffet dinner at the church.
– Also, we have several car wash plans. Dates TBA.
