Listen to the audio at the bottom of this post.

Is God your source or just a resource? How do we live a life where God is our source?

The essence of having God as your source is seeing your life as not your own, but Gods.  We are to be stewards of ALL God has given us.

If you don’t believe that we are stewards of what God has given us, then tithing is just a bill and serving God is community service.  We must be of the mindset that everything I posses (physically, monetary, health, time) has been given by God.  If we believe this, then we need to have faith and be stewards of what he’s given.

Mal 3:8-12
We rob God by not tithing and giving in an offering.

Not only are we blessed for our obedience in giving, but God may bring us to a place of need if we don’t give.  ”I can’t afford to give”. Fact is that we really can’t afford NOT to give.

Matt 6:19-20
Where your treasure is, that where your heart is. One can usually tell just by looking where a persons treasure is.

Giving is not a lottery where you give only to receive. Giving is a lifestyle.

Seek ye first the kingdom, and all these things will be added.
