Our Music > Music Ministry

The mission of the musicians at Gateway Pentecostal Church is to praise and glorify the living God and lead others to do the same. We our passionate about Jesus and what He has done in our lives, and we want that same excitement and passion to not only be in our church services, but to flow through our communities where we play live outdoor concerts, coffee houses and communities events.

We believe it is about much more than singing a song or playing an instrument. It is about... loving the Lord with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength. Mark 12:30.

Our musicians open each church service with contemporary praise and worship music. Songs such as "Glorious One," "How Great is Our God" and "Blessed Be the Name of the Lord" create an atmosphere of celebration as the church body comes together with the purpose of thanking God for all that He is.

God created us to be passionate, emotional beings. He created us to have talents and abilities. What better way to thank God for what He has done in our lives than to praise Him with the fruit of our lips and the workings of our hands.

The Bible tells us to do just that: "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the lute and harp," says Psalms 150. "Praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Praise Him with the stringed instruments and flutes... Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."
